Tarek M'Rad: Smart and Light Communication and Marketing Executive
Tarek M'Rad is a holder of a degree in marketing from the Institute of Higher Commercial Studies at Carthage. He worked for ten years within the Sales and Marketing Department in one of the largest multinational companies in the oil sector. Throughout this period and along with his professional activities, he had found in the media sector, namely the radio programs in French, an outlet to unleash his creativity and his desire to share his passions with others. Passion! This is the axis around which the life of Tarek M'RAD revolves, and the common denominator that made him follow the path of Sophie Reverdi, not only as a person with whom he shares affinities, but also as a visionary businesswoman and leader of a lifetime project: Smart and Light. It was only a matter of time before he identified himself with his ideals and joined the team united around Sophie whom he has always appreciated her commitment and belief in her noble cause which is raising people’s consciousness about the scourge of obesity, and helping them pull through from this evil phenomenon that is causing damage to today’s consumer society.
Since January 2010, Tarek has been in charge of managing the Marketing & Communication operations in Smart and Light, the development of its operations in order to enrich its activity portfolio, and its expansion on the international scene.
Eventually, he is able to simultaneously combine work and passion!

Ghalia Gargani: Smart and Light Communication and Marketing Executive
Ghalia Gargani has a BA and MA degree from the American University in Cairo in Sociology and Anthropology and has been working in communication and development for the past ten years. After having lived most of her life abroad, she moved back to Tunisia last January and in March joined the Smart and Light Program. Since she has been struggling with her weight since the age of 16, having gone through dozens of unsuccessful diets and through weight loss progr ams in the United States, she was happily surprised to have lost 15 kilos in less than four months.
The program and Sophie not only changed her lifestyle but gave her a confidence and sense of fulfillment she never had before. Because of this transformation and because of the belief in this new way of life, she joined the Smart and Light team to help others share her outstanding experience. As part of the Communication and Marketing team, Ghalia is responsible for promoting the program internationally and bringing to people from around the world, the opportunity to change their lives for the better.
