The philosophy of Smart and Light can be summarized in one key idea which is:  we are all responsible for our life circumstances.
The goal of our Smart and Light team is to welcome you with open arms, and with the energy, understanding, and the availability of a loving family that is ready for everything.
We are aware of the suffering that overweight causes and we hold all those who are affected by it in high esteem. We are also confident that we will be successful in healing you thanks to the skills we have gathered within our team and to the tools we have especially selected.
That is our desire and our commitment. But we are not the only interested party. Without your personal commitment, and your equal support of yourself and of our team, the risk of failure could be real, while success is within our reach.
In order to make our responsibility of helping you to change a tangible reality and a hopeful one, we suggest you make a pact of responsibility sharing.
In short, we support you, but you must assume your own share of responsibility because no force and no one, whatever abilities and skills they might possess, can manage to bring you change if you do not wish fervently to do it yourself. This deep decision which is synonymous with the conviction and the intense and irrevocable desire to change lies deep down inside of you.
The strength and the will for change do exist; they are a part of you. They are yours and they emanate from your heart of hearts.
We will show you how to use them to make the change you have always wanted and dreamt of, but the decision to change is only up to you.
This is how you will help us ...so as to help you!

Have faith in your abilities, in your resources, and in your potential to achieve what you have decided to achieve, and believe in it deep inside yourself.  Our responsibility is to help you find the strength and courage to have access to your resources and your responsibility is to be committed to the path that will lead you there.
We respect you and we want to take care of you because you deserve unexceptionally all the respect. So if you agree to respect yourself and to grant yourself the value we grant you, we can go forward together towards what you desire, towards the release from this weight that makes it so difficult to love yourself.


Our responsibility is to support you in this new process, but yours in return consists in adopting a voluntary and strong-minded behaviour. You are capable of doing it and pushing it further, too.

Your decision to surmount this limiting and debasing state will have very serious implications during your entire journey. By "having the desire" to change, you can change your life and you can give yourself new opportunities to be happier and more fulfilled.
Having successfully taken the irrevocable decision to change will give you a liberating power in all areas of your life. I invite you with open arms and I want you to bear in mind that a won battle opens the door to victory in all other battles.

We offer you to be your guide, and your task will consist in being your own masters. Together, we will be a winning team; a team in which everyone is responsible for something. We will be moving together towards achieving a common goal which is your freedom, your access to a new quality of life.
You will quickly realize that you are able to achieve your goals and after compiling success upon success, you will be surprised that you were able to instigate the change you always longed for on your own. 
You will feel completely freed from the burden that weighed on you before. You will realize that it is up to you to have the body you always deserved, and that through this metamorphosis you have instigated, it is an entire shift of lifestyle that you have generated, and a different quality of life you have favoured.
We know that you want to lose weight and we are also aware of the fact that you want to get rid of a lot of heavy things that are connected with those kilos in excess. We know that you long for a different quality of life and we are sure that you're capable of having it. We know you have the power to heal because we are certain that you possess the power to take the irrevocable decision to change.
Do not worry. We, on our part, we will not change.
Henceforth, food will never be a source of guilt. It will become a source of pleasure. You revel in eating whenever you feel like it.
You will have the body you have always deserved, and you will be proud of it because you managed to change it on your own.

The strength that you were finally able to possess will intensify to give you wings on this journey, and your healing will be positively reflected in all areas of your life.
Let us guide you to this inexhaustible fountain of your inner resources. There can never be a much more efficient miracle product than this one.
